Dr. Pearce Fujiura
Dr. Fujiura is from central Washington. He went to undergraduate school and studied veterinary medicine at Washington State University and graduated in 2012. He has since worked extensively with small animals, exotic pets, and wildlife.
He enjoys the variety that veterinary medicine provides for him; he has had the opportunity to work on everything from eels to tigers and all the creatures in between.
Dr. Fujiura has completed the Avian Endoscopy Certification program at the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital, given several lectures on exotic animal medicine, and was featured in an article with National Geographic Kids for his work with rehabilitating and releasing a bald eagle.
For the last 8 years he has been practicing in the Portland area honing his skills in small animal and exotic medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Pearce enjoys cooking, eating, hiking, distance running, and watching anime in his off time.
Over the years he has owned many different pets including: dogs, cats, boas, pythons, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, ferrets, rabbits, horses, a Nanday conure, a dove, and a sulcata tortoise. He currently owns an Australian Shepherd-Border Collie cross named Kitsu who is the best little office buddy.
